Oxford International Juniors’ New Programs at Benenden School

Oxford International Education Group is delighted to announce the return of its junior programs at Benenden School in Kent for summer 2024, complemented by the introduction of exciting new courses, such as English plus Football and the innovative UK University Preparation course.

After a hiatus since the pre-pandemic era of 2019, the Oxford International Junior Division is set to reopen its programs at the esteemed Benenden School, renowned for its splendid mix of modern and historical architecture, top-notch educational facilities, and comprehensive sports fields, nestled in the scenic town of Cranbrook.

This summer, the program highlights include the collaborative English and Football course with Tottenham Hotspur, available from July 9 to August 6, catering to students aged 10 to 17. This unique offering combines rigorous English language instruction with professional football training provided by Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Development coaches. Additionally, the course features exclusive tours of the Tottenham Hotspur and Wembley Stadiums and equips participants with a full Tottenham Hotspur playing kit.

New to this year’s lineup is the two-week UK University Preparation Programme, in collaboration with the University of Kent, aimed at students aged 14 to 17. Starting on July 9 and 23, the course is designed to give students a taste of university life, incorporating study skills, academic pathways, and visits to leading UK universities.

Paul Hurcombe, Head of EL UK at Oxford International, shared his excitement about the program’s return to Benenden School, emphasizing the comprehensive university experience provided to students through the new UK University Preparation Programme. The course features an academic blend of lectures, seminars, and project work, enhanced with masterclasses from university experts in fields like law, business, and science.

Benenden School is also set to host the distinguished British English Olympics during the Easter holidays of 2024, organized by Oxford International.
