The British junior English Language Teaching (ELT) provider, BLISS, has broadened its geographical presence by inaugurating a novel summer camp in England. This addition supplements its existing educational facilities in Scotland.
The Brownlee Language International Summer Schools (BLISS) are set to host a vibrant summer camp at Rishworth School, nestled in the serene vicinity of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The camp is scheduled from July 14th to July 28th, offering a rich blend of educational and recreational activities.
Participants will have the chance to engage in an array of English Plus programs, such as Mixed Sports, Discovery Yorkshire, and Mixed Summer Choice. Rishworth School boasts an extensive range of amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, a sports hall, and football fields, ensuring a fulfilling and active summer experience.
Suzanne Littlejohn Brown, the Director of BLISS, shared her insights with StudyTravel Magazine, emphasizing the decision to expand. She noted the company’s commitment to its long-standing, loyal student base, many of whom have frequented their Scottish locations multiple times. The new English location offers a fresh and exciting environment for returning students. Located ideally for expeditions to York, Yorkshire, and the Dales, and a mere 40 minutes from Manchester airport, the Rishworth School campus promises new adventures and learning opportunities.
Since its inception in 2018, BLISS has been providing quality summer courses at Kilgraston School and Strath in Perth, Scotland. The organization prides itself on adherence to high standards, as evidenced by its accreditation by the British Council, memberships with English UK, Young Learners English UK, and English UK Scotland. Under Suzanne’s leadership as the current Chair, BLISS continues to shine, having recently been awarded the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2023 in the Beyond Scotland category, recognizing their achievements in international development.
